 We are seeking a forward-thinking PHP Developer who not only excels in developing robust backend solutions but also embraces AI-enhanced tooling and data-driven workflows to accelerate development, improve quality, and automate routine engineering tasks. You will partner with cross-functional teams to design, build, deploy, and maintain high-quality software with a modern, scalable architecture. 

Key responsibilities:

Core Development & Collaboration

•            Write clean, well-designed, maintainable PHP code that follows industry best practices.  

•            Produce detailed technical specifications and documentation that support both human and AI-assisted review.

•            Troubleshoot, test, and maintain software and databases to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

•            Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle — from concept through release and maintenance.   

AI & Tooling Integration

•            Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., code suggestion assistants, automated testing frameworks, and code quality analyzers) to increase productivity and reduce defects.

•            Collaborate with product and data teams to incorporate AI/ML-enabled features or data insights into applications where relevant.

•            Enable smart automation in build pipelines (CI/CD), deployment processes, and monitoring dashboards. 

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

•            Stay current with emerging technologies in AI, PHP frameworks (such as Laravel), backend services, and related ecosystems.  
•            Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and collaborative discussions to foster a culture of innovation.

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
Minimum 5+ years of PHP development experience with demonstrable expertise. 
Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and REST web services. 
Proficiency with relational databases, version control systems (e.g., Git), and API integrations.

Frameworks & Modern Tooling

•            Experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel preferred).  

•            Familiarity with testing frameworks, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD environments is a plus.

AI & Automation Aptitude

•            Demonstrated interest or experience with AI-assisted development workflows or tools (code generation, automated testing, static analysis).
•            Ability to adopt and adapt tooling that increases efficiency and code quality.
Soft Skills
•            Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
•            Problem-solving mindset with a passion for building scalable, future-ready systems.
