Job Details

 The Project Coordinator will be an integral member of the Project Management team, supporting and assisting IT Project Managers in planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects.

The role requires strong ownership, structured coordination across cross-functional teams, effective prioritization of tasks, and timely management of client requests including monthly and annual maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, action-oriented, solution-focused, and capable of anticipating roadblocks while supporting organizational growth. This role is designed as a potential growth path toward a Project Manager position.

Key responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination

Maintain and update the project visibility board, tracking project attributes, progress, risks, and resource utilization.

Coordinate project discovery sessions and support logistics for project meetings.

Track and monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines.

Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource prioritization.

Documentation & Governance

Create, edit, and maintain standard project documentation.

Document meeting minutes, decisions, risks, and action items.

Ensure proper documentation of project changes and updates.

Client & Maintenance Management

Manage monthly and annual maintenance tasks across assigned projects.

Coordinate and track client enhancement requests and service tickets.

Ensure timely response and closure of client queries and task requests.

Support small enhancement projects with limited scope as assigned.

Operational Support

Assist department leadership with administrative project activities.

Monitor task assignments and follow up for timely completion.

Identify potential risks, delays, or resource conflicts and escalate appropriately.

AI & Process Optimization

Stay updated with the latest AI tools and technologies that enhance project coordination and productivity.

Leverage AI-based tools for documentation, scheduling, reporting, tracking, and communication efficiency.

Suggest process improvements using emerging technologies.

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

B.Tech in Computer Science or related field.

Demonstrated experience handling multiple concurrent projects.

Experience managing client requests, maintenance tasks, and small enhancement projects.

Proficiency in project management tools such as:

·       MS Office Suite

·       MS Project

·       MS Visio

·       MS PowerPoint

Other project scheduling and management tools

Working knowledge of modern AI productivity tools is preferred.

PMP certification preferred (not mandatory).

Minimum experience : 3-5Years
