We are needing an Application Security Analyst for our office in Technopark, Trivandrum, India.

The Application Security Analyst would work as security specialist exposed to ethical hacking and will work with the IT Infrastructure team. Primary objective is to prevent unauthorized access to data systems while ensuring privacy and protection is well maintained without compromising quality of application’s service delivery. As an Ethical Hacker, the Analyst would spend his/her days attempting to breach application and network security systems and identify potential vulnerabilities in the system. The findings are to be done periodically; progress reports and action steps are to be made to the senior management without fail. 

We expect the Analyst to be an enabler of compliance and quality, have a positive attitude and maintain inter-team harmony while involved in the process of information gathering and process adherence.

Key responsibilities:

Conduct Tests on Cloud Networks and Applications:
Perform security tests on cloud networks, web-based applications, mobile-applications (Android & iOS) and computer systems.
Design these tests and tools to try to break into security-protected applications and networks to probe for vulnerabilities.
Keep updated on the latest methods for ethical hacking while evaluating new penetration testing tools.

Conduct Security Audits:
Use testing methods to pinpoint ways that attackers could exploit weaknesses in security systems.
Conduct network and system security audits, which evaluate how well the system conforms to a set of established criteria.

Analyze Security Policies & Write Security Assessment Reports

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

Qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent degree and/or experience.
Minimum 3+ years ethical hacking / penetration testing experience for web, API & mobile applications aligned to OWASP.
Offensive Security Certified Professional OSCP or CEH V10 Certified
Experience using Security assessment tools

Special note: This position typically works at regular business hours. However, the Analyst is sometimes required to work longer hours or nights and weekends, depending on need and security threats.
