Job Details

We are looking for a motivated Data Platform Engineer with a strong foundation in programming and an interest in backend development and data systems. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn modern technologies and contribute to building scalable applications.

Key responsibilities:

·       Develop and maintain backend applications using Python

·       Assist in building APIs and integrating third-party services

·       Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage data efficiently

·       Support development of basic data pipelines and data processing tasks

·       Collaborate with team members to deliver scalable and reliable solutions

·       Debug issues and improve application performance


Core Technical Skills

·       Basic proficiency in Python

·       Understanding of SQL and database concepts

·       Strong knowledge of REST APIs (Flask/Django/FastAPI)  

·       Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms

 

Cloud / Data Platforms (Good to Have, but Important)

·       Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Amazon Redshift

·       Basic understanding of data lake concepts and modern data storage approaches

·       Interest in working with cloud-based data systems and large datasets 


Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

·       Exposure to ETL/ELT processes or data pipelines

·       Basic understanding of data modelling concepts

·       Familiarity with Git

·       Exposure to Docker or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)


Experience

·       2–3 years of experience
