We are seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Engineer with strong technical expertise and strategic thinking to drive modern infrastructure transformation. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient IT environments, with a focus on adopting emerging technologies including cloud platforms, container orchestration, DevOps/DevSecOps practices, and AI infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the candidate will play a key role in supporting digital innovation and operational excellence across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and enhance enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Evaluate and optimize current systems, ensuring compliance with security standards, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage virtual networks, resolve connectivity issues, and implement redundancy strategies for high availability across locations.
  • Administer and monitor operating systems, middleware, automated workflows, and server virtualization platforms.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment, testing, and performance tuning across multiple environments.
  • Lead containerization initiatives using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar platforms to streamline application delivery.
  • Support DevOps and DevSecOps processes including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated security testing.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify areas for improvement in systems, networks, applications, and databases.
  • Maintain and evolve build and release processes, ensuring secure promotion of infrastructure components from development to production.
  • Deploy and manage hybrid cloud environments including public, private, and AI-enabled cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Implement secure system configurations and manage inter-application data flows in alignment with data protection regulations.
  • Provide architectural input during project planning and ensure technical alignment with business goals.
  • Share expertise across teams and support cross-functional programs and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in cloud computing, automation, AI infrastructure, and cyber-resilience.

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

  • 3 to 4 years of professional experience in enterprise IT infrastructure roles.
  • Proven experience with modern infrastructure design including server, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud-native services.
  • Strong hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Experience with containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration in hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML workloads and infrastructure components used in AI Cloud environments is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their architecture best practices.
  • Deep understanding of IT security principles, compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001), and secure system architecture.
  • Proficiency in managing and optimizing network topologies, firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to align infrastructure design with business strategy.
  • Experience in architecture governance, standards development, and delivery lifecycle optimization.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, Kubernetes Administrator, CISSP) are a plus.
