Looking for a Liferay Developer who has hands on experience in Liferay Portal development in Liferay 6.x/7.x, Java, J2EE, Microservices, SOAP, Rest API, Js, JQuery, DB, Git, Gradle, CI/CD Pipeline.

Key responsibilities:

 Develop the platform based on client specifications on Liferay technology. 

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

  • Strong concept of OOPs concepts and design principles
  • Strong core Java skills (Exceptions, Collections, Threads, Serialization, Generics)
  • Good understanding of web portal technology (architecture, development, deployment)
  • Strong Liferay development experience (portlets, hooks, listeners, themes, layouts, extensions, SSO, Roles Permissions, IPC, I18N) in LR 6.x,7.x
  • Liferay experience in Web contents, templates, structures, blogs, threads, message board · Strong experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks and related concepts like MVC, JPA, IoC, AOP · Experience with web services (SOAP, REST)
  • Familiarity with CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, Apache Velocity, XML, Apache HTTP, CDN · Experience with relational databases (like MySql, Oracle,MSSql etc), IDEs (like Eclipse, LDS), issue tracking tools (like JIRA), and revision control (like Git) · Experience with build tools (Ant, Maven, Gradle) · Experience with continuous integration & continuous deployment (e.g., Jenkins or Hudson, Sonarqube, Continuum)
  • Experience developing software in a Linux, Windows, and/or Mac environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Has energy, self-motivated, pro-active and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before asked by others. Enthusiasm to constantly motivate the team with experience in working in cross locations structure.
