We are seeking a highly skilled Mapbox developer with GIS experience to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and user-friendly mapping applications and will have a strong understanding of geospatial data and technology.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain custom mapping applications using Mapbox
  • Work with GIS data to create interactive maps and data visualizations
  • Implement custom styles, pop-ups, and interactivity on maps
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop new features and capabilities
  • Write clean, efficient and well-documented code
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the GIS and mapping space

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, or a related field
  • Proven experience in developing mapping applications using Mapbox or other similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of GIS concepts and experience working with geospatial data
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
  • Experience with API integration and database management
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
