As the Product Officer - Hospitality Products, you will play a major role in supporting digital reach activities for our premium client in the hospitality sector. A dedicated position with the client, you should have a fair understanding of the hospitality and F&B segments. As a key player, you will be a pivotal contact point for the client’s digital products group and our development teams.

You will build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, develop project roadmaps and manage the delivery of software deliverables pertaining to the products defined in the specific assignment. You will be contributing for both product planning and marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver quality products at global standards. It also includes working with sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. 

Key responsibilities:

The roles are not limited to the following primary activities:
Determines customers’ needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
Assesses market competition by comparing the client’s products to their competitors.
Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
Conducts meetings and present ideas and plans to stakeholders.

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

B.Tech. in Computer Science or a relevant discipline required.

Minimum 5+ years in a similar role.
Experience working with distributed teams in collaboration.
Well versed at leading, managing and monitoring development activities.
Exposure to Agile Methodologies in Software Development and knowledge of cloud services with focus on Azure and AWS environments are definite advantages.
Working experience in hospitality or F&B sector, directly or indirectly adds value.

Positive, enthusiastic attitude with great spirit for teamwork.
Relationship building, facilitation and communication skills.
Fluency in English language - written and spoken.
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems using an analytical approach.
Strong understanding of technology challenges and solutions.
